Week 2 - Focus on Ink

It was fun playing with some different mediums last week; this week I am going all in on ink. Pens, calligraphy nibs, Japanese brushes and digital ink.

The course I'm using this week is actually structured for one week, so a different video/technique each day. Again, I'll share all my practice and experiments in the post at the end of the week. I will probably also share things I particularly like on social media - I like Instagram for this.

I use a lot of ink in my illustrating, but this is usually only in the form of standard marker pens and a couple of brush pens. Using it as a more free-flowing substance will be interesting. I did it use it a little last week, but I've never really spent a lot of time exploring ink as a 'painting' medium.
