Helping You Capture. Share. Communicate.

graphic recording

This is the process of capturing and distilling discussions and presentations into a poster. Whether it's at a meeting, training session, strategy session, conference, workshop, or other group gathering.

Graphic Recording (or scribing) is a process of deep listening to capture key points and components of the discussions or presentations in the room - usually on a long sheet of paper on a wall but it can also be done digitally in the room and during online sessions. This powerful tool helps your participants reflect on what has been said, and provides a visual stimulus for deeper discussions during breaks.

The image is yours to keep. You can photograph it and use it in whatever way you would like. As an addition to the standard service, I can also turn those posters into a digital drawing. In slower time, I will redraw the content in a A4 dimensions, making it easier to share.

business illustrations

Drawing of a plain text document and then a visual poster

There are a range of business illustrations I can develop to support communication within your organisation or with external people. The most common are:

  • Infographics - using graphics and visual elements to provide data and information in an approachable and engaging way.

  • Story posters - often used to communicate the focus, services or achievements of an organisation. These posters can be used in a variety of ways. I've created them to communicate change within an organisation, as an engaging inclusion in a funding proposal or to promote recent innovations.

My portfolio includes examples, but there are many other ways to use these communication tools.

Visit my Portfolio to see examples or email me at kylie@dinkylune.com to discuss how I can help your organisation.

graphic facilitation

A drawing of me standing at a flip chart capturing conversation

Using my facilitation skills alongside my visual skills, I can graphically facilitate meetings, workshops or other sessions. Graphic facilitation is quite different to recording. The visuals become an integrated component of the discussions and don't happen off to the side of it, like the recording does.

  • Co-facilitation– working with you or another facilitator to listen and draw the voices in the room and bring forward key concepts and ideas.

  • Facilitation– using a range of facilitation techniques and capturing the event or meeting to achieve strategic or creative outcomes.

For larger/longer events, I work with another experienced graphic facilitator, Julia Curtis. She has extensive experience in co-design events alongside her graphic skills and we find that two graphic facilitators greatly enhance the experience for larger events.

explainer videos

The video on my hire me page is an explainer video. These videos can be created with music background or a voice-over to help explain the visual content. They fall into two basic categories:

  • Promotional videos for your business - usually 30-90 seconds

  • Content videos to explain an idea, model, theory etc. - usually 3-6 minutes

Longer videos can be created, if required.

They are a fun alternative to other video content, allowing you to have the impact of visuals alongside verbal explanation - remembering that images and words together help people retain more information.

I can also provide other short animations to enhance your communication and messaging.
